MY JOURNEY AT AUB.

SCHOLARSHIP.

The USAID Scholarship is one of the most competitive and prestigious opportunities a student can earn, awarded to individuals who demonstrate not only strong academic performance, but also exceptional potential beyond the classroom. Being selected means standing out in a highly demanding process built to identify future leaders and changemakers. More than financial support, the scholarship is a transformative experience that develops students through community engagement, leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal growth. It reflects a commitment to excellence, impact, and using education as a tool to create meaningful change..

S. OLAYAN BUSINESS SCHOOL.

The Suliman S. Olayan School of Business (OSB) at AUB is widely recognized as one of the leading business schools in the Middle East and North Africa. Known for its rigorous academic standards and strong emphasis on leadership and innovation, OSB prepares students to operate in complex global markets. The school is internationally accredited and built on a tradition of excellence that combines analytical thinking with real-world business insight. Through a demanding curriculum and exposure to global perspectives, OSB develops graduates who are equipped to lead, build, and create meaningful impact in the business world.

workshops.

Throughout my time at AUB as a USAID scholar, I participated in a large number of intensive workshops designed to develop both technical and professional skills. These sessions covered areas such as technology, business law and taxation, entrepreneurship, consulting, teamwork, creativity, and career development. Many of them were highly practical, requiring us to work in teams to develop business solutions, simulate startup scenarios, and deliver sales pitches within extremely limited timeframes. This environment pushed us to think quickly, communicate clearly, and present ideas confidently—building strong foundations in problem-solving, collaboration, and professional presentation.

EXTRA CURRICULARS.

Participating in extracurricular competitions such as the Memac Ogilvy Competition and The Wolf of Beirut E-Commerce Case Competition played a major role in sharpening my business and communication skills beyond the classroom. These experiences placed me in fast-paced, high-pressure environments where complex business problems had to be analyzed and solved within extremely limited time. They demanded the effective application of marketing, finance, business operations, strategy, and teamwork—all while preparing and delivering clear, persuasive presentations at a very high level. Being part of such competitions pushed me to think faster, collaborate better, and continuously improve the way I solve problems and communicate ideas..
